“Been There, Done That” – In this presentation, Lin tells the story of her own path to success.  While acknowledging that the journey is never complete, she provides experiences and lessons that have moved her forward.  The youngest of six children of divorced and lower-middle-class parents, Lin recounts how her under-educated mother inspired her to complete college, her tumultuous childhood years, her determination to have a career at the most admired company in the world, her battle with insecurity and “good girl” syndrome, her ups and down of marriage and child adoption, and her encounter with cancer.  Through it all, Lin continued to learn and grow and now, in reflection, can see how all these experiences shaped and added value to her life.  She shares these experiences in a straight-forward manner, with the intention of inspiring people to reach for their dreams.
